College Algebra

My last class is math1111 college algebra, and I think I am actually learning better by going to class.  I have tried to take it before and just didn't understand everything on my own.  To me the book is a lot harder to understand by itself.  It seems easier because there is someone to explain everything in a more simple way that I can understand.  We just took a test and I hope I made a good grade on it.

Composition and Rhetoric

For My other english class eng1101 composition and rhetoric we have studied MLA format and done a narrative essay and a profile essay.  Our assignment next week is an evaluation essay on a movie that we must watch.  We have a prewriting assignment, an outline, an optional draft, and a final draft due. I did better on my profile essay than my narrative essay so maybe I can get everything done this week and continue to improve my writing.

Technical Communications

I am writing this blog for eng1105 technical communications.  We have also done a formal letter, a resume with a cover letter, and a technical description.  I did my technical description on a HP laptop and we have been working on our blogs for more than a few weeks.  We will soon do a proposal, which is our biggest assignment yet and will be 20% of our grade.  I have never done one before so I hope I can do good on the assignment.

MTC

I am currently attending MTC and plan to graduate after this summer.  My major is website design/internet specialist.  I am now finishing my core classes.  I am taking eng1101 composition and rhetoric, eng1105 technical communications, and math1111 college algebra.
